This is Semi-Literate but very interactive. Your characters will actually be learning things, moving in ranks, and sent on missions, so this isn’t some ordinary Roleplay. It takes patience and you actually have to read some stuff. However below I've given a lot of information, I don't expect you to read all of it! Just scan through it and every time you have a question, go look at it again. Mmkaay? :3

The great villages stand, before the time of Naruto Uzumaki. This is a new world, a different one. Here, the struggle of power between the own village Leaders and Akatsuki grow. The tailed beasts roam with no Jinjuriki, and are up for grabs. Will you hold the power of your village as a born Leader and keep peace, or be one of the Akatsuki and command war? Or will you be a striving ninja growing to be something greater than you ever imagined? Your Journey starts now!
::Summary::
If you are aware of the Naruto series then this Roleplay will be easy for you, we’re simply starting clean with new characters, new Akatsuki, and new Villages. For those who have no idea what I’m talking about, how’s this: In a very undeveloped land there sits around 24 different villages, all struggling to reach the top. With leaders have just taken control, there aren’t any countries, just regions for where these places rest. Each village might someday turn into a more powerful state or country, but at the moment the number of ninja is small and the future is uncertain.
In this Roleplay you will be placed as a Ninja, just graduating their Academy student class. They will be assigned to a group that will become their Ninja Team. The team(s) will be sent on missions by the leader and will do as he/she pleases. Your character(s) will grow and learn, becoming better and better, in this world of Ninja. :3

::Concepts You’ll Need to Know::
There are a lot of things that can be quite confusing, so this is the stuff you need to know.

Main Characters
Everyone has main characters, you can have as many as you please but I don’t take too many since they’re hard to keep track of. A main characters will be your most important characters, the ones you Roleplay the most and the ones that have a more complicated form. You have to have at least one before making any other characters.
Side Characters
Every once in a while there are some characters that have to be played, i.e. like teachers, special assassins, etc. They can turn into a main characters if you like them a lot though, just ask :3
Special Characters
Special Characters need to be approved by an Owner before being created. These characters are usually stronger, higher in ranks, and can God model. Types of characters that could be a Special Characters are like the Akatsuki Members, Village Leaders, special high ranked ninja, rouge ninjas, etc. Special characters will use the same form of a Side or Main depending on what type of special they are, but as well as the form a sample writing (maybe 5-10 sentences) needs to be posted describing their everyday life and thoughts, experiences, etc. you pick. To play any special Character you need to volunteer to be the leader of a village, than you can be a special character. (You can also request to be part of the akatsuki.)
Minor Characters

Different Roleplays for Different Villages I feel like it wouldn’t be right to have all the ninja roleplaying on the same Roleplay if there from and in different villages. It would just be confusing right? Well I think so, so every village will have a different Roleplay and a link will be provided where the Villages are listed. =The only villages listed are the only ones available, in other words the others don’t have leaders.
Village Leaders
So I really wanted to make this Roleplay very interactive and maybe even Political, so I’ve created the Village head System. Each village (there are 24 and are listed on Naruto wiki :3) needs a head in command, a leader who controls everything. I’ve decided to let anyone be that leader, however it’s first come first serve so whoever asks first gets that position as leader for that village. However you also have to create a character to be that leader, they don’t have to be a main character, but you still have to make one and make him or her give out commands and missions. It’s a big part to play, but if you do become one it will open up the door to where you can create any Special Characters. Since a political system is needed, there are rewards. As well as being an Akatsuki member if wanted. there is also a limit to one village head per person, with an exception to me and Rushkun.

I really don’t want people to make special characters without asking, make up clans or Justus (unless there’s reasonable facts behind them) or become the jinjuriki of a new tailed beast. =3=
Population
So I've decided to make the population of each village, the actual population. So it is Required for you to make one Main, one Side, and one Minor Character at least. This way there are a good amount a people and or ninja for different villages. Note: Side and Minor characters merely exist, you don't have to roleplay them that often.

Shinobi otherwise referred to as ninja in the English translation of Naruto, are the primary focus and the main military power in the series, they as well will be so here. A female ninja is known as a kunoichi . Most come from a hidden village, of which some come from specialized ninja clans, and will perform missions for a fee. These missions can include: doing manual labour, acting as escorts, gathering secret information, retrieving stolen items, carrying out assassinations, etc. In times of war, ninja will come together to defend their villages and land. The clearest characteristic of a shinobi is their ability to manipulate chakra to create and use jutsu.
Although there are variations from village to village, the general organisational structure and hierarchy of the ninja systems of each village is about the same. At the top of the organisation is the village head, or the Kage in the case of the five major villages. They rule the village and its shinobi together with a council, usually consisting of highly ranked shinobi and elders.
The actual shinobi forces are divided in three groups. The regular forces, the ANBU, and the Medical Teams.
The Regular Forces form the foundation of the village and its shinobi system. The majority of shinobi are a part of these forces and together, either individually or in teams, they perform the majority of the missions the village receives. They are also tasked with the various duties within the organization, such as training and office work.
When an Academy student graduates, they usually become a part of these forces, assuming the rank of Genin. Via various exams and tests, they can be promoted to higher ranks, first to Chūnin and after that to Jōnin. Sometimes, when a shinobi is specialized in a very specific skill, they can assume the rank of Tokubetsu Jōnin, which is ranked between chūnin and jōnin.
Academy students make up the student body of the Ninja Academy, where they are trained and prepared for life as a shinobi. They are not an actual part of the shinobi force, as they are still in the process of mastering the very basics of the ninja lifestyle. However, they can be conscripted as part of the war potential in times of emergency.
Genin are the lowest level of ninja and also the ones that display the most difference in power. When they become genin, ninja start to do their bit for their village's economy – being sent on missions that the village gets paid for. They are typically sent either on D-rank missions, which are almost entirely risk-free jobs of manual labor, or, rarely, on C-rank missions, which are a cut above that and begin to verge on real "ninja" work that have a very low possibility of risk to the ninja involved. When Konohagakure was short-handed in upper-level ninja because of the attack by Otogakure and Sunagakure, the village had to occasionally send genin on higher-ranked missions.
Chūnin are ninja who are qualified to watch over and guide other ninja. Chūnin have reached a level of maturity that primarily consists of leadership skills and tactical prowess. This is because the genin who don't have the skills to become chūnin are weeded out in testing. Some of them, like Iruka Umino and Mizuki, function as Academy teachers and others, like Shikamaru Nara, serve as team leaders in charge of small teams who need to make decisions and utilize the skills of the shinobi under their command to the maximum effect. Chūnin are typically sent on C-rank or B-rank missions.
Tokubetsu Jōnin are ninja who, rather than all-around jōnin training, have Jōnin-level ability in a single area or skill, much like warrant officers of real-world militaries. They are elite specialists in their areas and are often assigned as subordinates to regular jōnin when their services are needed.
Jōnin (上忍, Jōnin; Literally meaning "High Ninja", Meaning (Viz) "Elite Ninja") are generally highly-experienced shinobi with great individual skill who serve as military captains. They are often sent on A-Rank missions, and experienced jōnin may even be sent on S-rank missions (which are considered to be the greatest difficulty). It is not unusual for jōnin to go on missions alone. Jōnin are generally able to use at least two types of elemental chakra, some genjutsu, and above-average taijutsu skills.
Teams Although the higher-ranking members of the regular forces often perform missions alone, most are done in teams. The most basic team is the one a genin is placed in after graduation. This so-called three-man cell consists of three genin under the guidance of a jōnin. These teams are meant to give the new shinobi practical skills, while already being a productive member of the organisation. Usually, strong bonds are cultivated between the members of such a team, lasting their entire lives. Because of these bonds and the fact that working with one's long-time team-mates is usually more efficient, these teams often last even after all members have been promoted to chūnin or higher.
Besides these basic teams, there are also teams, and groups created for specific missions and tasks. Sometimes these are ad hoc teams only exist for the duration of the mission, such as the Sasuke Retrieval Team, but in certain cases these teams are more organized and lasting, such as the Nijū Shōtai, created to battle the Akatsuki threat.
Special Ranks and Functions Besides the standard ranks of genin, chūnin, tokubetsu jōnin, and jōnin, there are some shinobi who bear a special rank or function. For instance, Kumogakure has a rank between that of jōnin and Raikage. This Head Ninja helps in leading the shinobi forces and is capable of representing the village. Konohagakure has the Jōnin Commander, who represents the regular forces in councils and likely helps in commanding them. However more can be made nad there are even a few unknown.
The ANBU short for Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai take orders directly from the Kage or leader, performing special high-level missions, such as assassinations and torture. The ANBU usually work in teams formed to the requirements of the mission, ensuring maximum success. The shinobi in the ANBU are hand-picked by the Kage or leader; chosen for their individual capabilities and special skills. Age, gender, background, or previous rank bear no weight in this decision. They wear their mask even in their own village, for their identity as an ANBU agent is to be known only by the Kage and village elders.
There are apparently no true ranks within the ANBU, unlike within the regular forces. Team leadership and hierarchy seem to be based on merit and experience. The leaders of the teams are called squad leaders, a position held in high regards.
Groups There are various groups within the ANBU, aimed at various different functions and tasks. Kirigakure, for instance, has the Hunter-nin, a group created solely for hunting down and disposing of missing-nin. Konohagakure has the ANBU Torture and Interrogation Force, who interrogate prisoners and work to gather intelligence. Though they were to officially disband, another ANBU group named Root would carry out extremely secretive missions and were not under the direct authority of previous Hokage.
The Medical Teams are the back-up of the shinobi forces. They consist of medical-nin, working behind the scenes to heal the sick and injured shinobi and to make sure the organisation is always in peak condition. Medical-nins are also similar to HM or Hospital Corpsman of the military in real life. They also do extensive research into new techniques, medicine, and into diseases and the human body. Although not seen very often, they are highly respected. Even to a jōnin, the advanced skills of these shinobi appear like magic.
Not all medical-nin are members of the Medical Teams, though. There are also medical-nin within the regular forces, who go along on standard missions to increase the success-rate. However, back in the village, it is the Medical Teams who run the hospital and treat the wounded.
A Kage is the leader of one of the five most powerful Hidden Villages and generally are also the most powerful ninja in their respective villages. They are collectively known as the Five Kage. If a Kage has held their position for several decades, as was the case with the Third Hokage, younger ninja are likely to have become stronger than they are. In such cases, the Kage may retire and give the title to someone else; the title, once granted, is held permanently. This creates a case where there are two Kage at the same time, with only one of them actually active, as it was with the Third and Fourth Hokage. After the Fourth died, the Third came out of retirement.
The Kage stand equally with the rulers of their countries, oversee the activities of their villages, and are the leaders of ninja society. They typically are the ones who send the ninja teams out on their missions and make the decisions regarding the safety of the village. The five Kage are:
The Hokage (火影; Literally meaning "Fire Shadow") is currently not decided.

The Mizukage (水影; Literally meaning "Water Shadow") is currently not decided.
The Raikage (雷影; Literally meaning "Lightning Shadow") is currently not decided.
The Tsuchikage (土影; Literally meaning "Earth Shadow") is currently not decided.
Although the village leaders of other hidden villages may be as strong or even stronger than any of the Kage, their villages have not earned enough recognition for them to bear this title. In this roleplay the first Rising villages in all of the countries will be named part of the Five Kage.
Since the creation of jinchūriki, it has become tradition for the host to be selected from the family of the village's own Kage. In this way, the jinchūriki not only has strong ties of loyalty to village and their leader, but they also serve to show off the Kage's might. For example, Killer Bee is the son of the Third Raikage and Gaara is the son of the Fourth Kazekage. However some jinjuriki’s have been created under the Kage’s radar and was not part of the loyal family.
Ninja Clothing and Tools In the world of Naruto, various ninja are shown wearing different clothing. Some of these actually serve a purpose, though.
Ninja Clothing is different from modern clothes, so make sure your character are wearing something more like the fallowing :3
Armor It was the primary form of clothing in the earlier era of the shinobi. Some shinobi, particularly the Akimichi clan, as well as Hiruzen Sarutobi, wear plated armour when going into combat. Its most obvious use is as protection from bladed weapons, blunt trauma, and some jutsu. Due to the hardness of the armour, it can also be used to strengthen the power of physical attacks if the metal connects with their foe.
It seems that armour can be personalized to a certain degree, as Chōza and and Chōji have the kanji for 'food' on their armour. Armour can also be worn under a shinobi's usual clothes, although this means that less armour can be worn, usually in the form of iron meshed clothes.
Cloaks are actually some of the most versatile clothing available to ninjas. They can serve many purposes, such as being ceremonial clothing, a sign of status, to conceal one's body and weapons, or as protection from weather. These can also come in a variety of designs.
Flak jackets are usually worn by chūnin and jōnin over their normal clothing in most villages, although the design varies among the villages.
Forehead Protectors The most important article of clothing for any and all shinobi is their forehead protector. This headband signifies where the loyalty of a shinobi lies. It also signifies equality among shinobi of the same village. In order to be considered an official ninja, one must graduate and earn one of these headbands. The missing-nin of Akatsuki puts a scratch across their village symbol on these to signify their defection from that village. They can also serve a practical purpose, acting as protection for a ninja's forehead whilst in battle. Notably some shinobi aren't seen wearing forehead protectors, mainly in the Naruto filler arcs and after Sasuke left his behind after the fight at the Valley of End.
The Full Body Suit is simply a single form-fitting piece of clothing that covers everything except the feet, hands, and head (although the ones used by the ANBU reveal the arms from shoulder down). It seems that it would allow stealthly movements, and the ones worn by Lee and Guy are claimed by the two to allow full movement, retain moisture, and is breathable. These seem to have no real downside, although Guy and Lee's seem to have the comical effect of making their backsides look larger.
Hip Pouch Generic pouch worn over a half of one's rear end, although some people, mostly ANBU, wear two or three pouches. Medical pouches are larger and worn over the rear-end. Used as storage for many tools, hip pouches are necessary for holding an assortment of all the most elementary of ones ninja tools such as kunai, shuriken, scrolls and exploding tags.
Medical Pouch Konoha Medical Field Ninja, such as Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka, are seen sporting their own version of the hip pouch. Like their generic counterparts, the medical pouch is worn on the back of the wearer's rear. Unlike their counterparts, however, the medical pouch covers the whole width of the wearer's rear-end. This provides the field medical ninja with more space to transport medical supplies into the field to administer emergency first aid. Both Sakura and Ino also wear their tantō above their medical pouches when on missions.
Mask The ANBU wear these ceramic masks to hide their identities. These masks come in a variety of designs, with all of them resembling animal faces. In one episode, Naruto was able to buy a mask like these whilst searching for Tsunade with Jiraiya.
Medical Suit The Konoha medic-nin have been shown wearing an off-white robed outfit over white-beige clothing. This seems to serve no other purpose other than to allow others to discern medic-nin from the usual ninja.
Straw Hats These hats are simply circular hats made out of straw. However, these can be used to hide one's identity, or as a way to protect oneself from unpleasant weather.
Shuriken Holster Vertically worn, rectangular pouch with two pockets, worn around the thigh. Similar to a hip pouch, the weapons holster is designed for holding kunai and shuriken only. Positioned on the thigh, the holster is conveniently placed for the quick-drawing of the kunai or shuriken they carry in combat.
Tools and Weapons
Kunai, along with the shuriken, are a common ninja weapon in Naruto. It is a black dagger designed for thrusting and stabbing, though it can still do some damage if thrown despite not being designed for it, and is about the length of one's hand.
Many ninja attack by attaching an exploding tag to the blade. The kunai is usually thrown so that it lodges in an object near the target, and then the explosion from the attached tag destroys the target. Kunai can also be kept on spring-loaded wires up the user's sleeve, as seen in Naruto's fight with Sai when they first met. They can be used for close combat, like a normal knife. Empowered with "chakra flow", kunai thrown into targets can cut through solid wood and even solid stone targets.

The ninja appear to use them so much due to both their sturdy and dependable nature and their versatility.
A Shuriken, like kunai, is one of the more basic weapons seen in Naruto. They are sharpened, four-pronged metal stars, useful for throwing. Although small, they can be used to distract, or, if accurate enough, can be deadly. They have an open circle in the center, used for grabbing with a finger, to avoid cutting oneself, or to put thread through. The circle is also a benefit in aerodynamics, as it ensures more accurate trajectories.
In addition to the basic shuriken, larger, arm-length shuriken have been seen in the series. They are usually carried on the back or stored in scrolls. The Fūma Shuriken is of a similar size, but is more lethal and can be folded together for easier storage. The shuriken of the Land of Birds are a little bit different. It has three-pronged metal stars instead of four. There have also been seen shurikens with bent points.
Exploding Tags are scraps of paper inscribed with a special writing, centering around the kanji for "explode”. Infused with chakra, they will explode after a set amount of time, remotely, or after being ignited by flame. The tags can be attached to a surface or wrapped around a weapon to be thrown at an enemy. They are very versatile and one of the basic ninja tools. Ninja can confuse their enemies by obtaining fake exploding tags. They work even under heavy rain.[1]
When an exploding tag is detonated remotely, ninja use the "Snake" hand seal. Similarly, when used remotely, exploding tags can be detonated in sequence, allowing them to be used to trap opponents.
A Clan, in the loosest sense of the term, refers to a family or group of shinobi who form a basic unit of a shinobi village. Majority of these clans were known to have started out as mercenary military forces even before the First Shinobi World War. The Senju clan and Uchiha clan were the first known clans to have agreed to settle and form a shinobi village, facilitated by creating agreements with the daimyō of the land they inhabit. Many clans would follow the example of the Senju and the Uchiha, later establishing the Five Great Shinobi Countries as they are known today.
Membership in a clan is usually determined by blood relations and genetics, which is vital in the usage of Kekkei Genkai and Hiden jutsu. These attributes and abilities made many clans feared and renowned throughout many villages. While clans may be composed of many individuals and extended families (such as the Kaguya and the Hyūga), many clans mentioned and seen in the series were somewhat limited to a nuclear family. The Clans fallowing are the clans you can be a part of in the Roleplay, however that is only possible if their main village is in existence, since some won’t be up and running yet.
The Aburame clan is one of the four noble clans of Konohagakure. They are characterized by their use of insects as weapons. The insects live in symbiosis within the body of the shinobi. At birth, members of this clan are offered to a special breed of insects called kikaichū as a nest, residing just under their host's skin. The clan members may also carry additional bugs in jars or gourds with them on missions. The insects can leave and enter their host's body through various pores. They feed on chakra as a food source, making them quite deadly. The relationship between the shinobi and the insects is mutually beneficial. The host grants the bugs shelter and allows them to feed off their chakra, their body becoming a living hive of tens of thousands of these bugs, and in return the bugs do the user's bidding, allowing the shinobi to perform ninjutsu-like techniques without the use of hand seals or chakra conversion.
A female bug can be left on a target, which then can be tracked by smell by the male bug, or scout bugs can be sent out and return to tell the host information about the area. For this reason, Aburame clan members are experts in espionage; they can communicate with the bugs, and the bugs specialize in stealth because they make no noise or motion during combat. In addition to utilizing insects in battle, the Aburame clan also studies insects. They were rivals of the Kamizuru clan, the bee users, until they defeated them in battle. A major defining trait of the Aburame clan is that all of its known members wear dark sunglasses that hide their eyes as well as wear clothing that covers up most of their body.
Even though their bug-related techniques are known only amongst the clan, a select few possess a special type of bug that is rare even among the clan's members. To date, only Shikuro and Torune are known to possess it.
It has also been shown that they possess the ability to communicate with other bugs and insects.
The Akimichi clan is one of the four noble clans of Konoha. It has had fifteen family heads, with Chōza Akimichi being the fifteenth and his son Chōji slated to become the sixteenth in the future. Members of the clan are able to quickly convert calories into chakra, which they then use in their hiden ninjutsu, Multi-Size Technique and its various related body enlargement techniques. Most of these techniques are known to rapidly consume the user's chakra upon activation, and maintaining them during a prolonged battle can be tiring, which is probably why the Akimichi are prone to eating a lot in order to constantly replenish their chakra reserves. The members of these clans also use bō. From what is seen of their usage they have the ability to lengthen in proportion to their wielder's size.
As a tribute, members of the clan wear the kanji for "food" on the their clothing. If standard calories aren't enough for a battle, Akimichi can use the clan's Three Coloured Pills to convert excess fat into chakra, at the cost of one's health.

For generations, members of these three families have formed an "Ino-Shika-Chō trio", named after the first part of the names of the members. The Akimichi members are the "Chō" in the trio. To strengthen the unity between the three clans, a member of the Sarutobi clan will give them special earrings to present to each generation when they swear their oaths. The earrings also symbolize that they are considered adults by their respective clans.
The Fūma clan is a renowned ninja clan, famous in at least Amegakure and the Land of Fire. It is unknown where they hail from.
They are well-known as an aggressive clan and fight using their characteristic giant Fūma Shuriken; a large, four-bladed weapon said to possess pre-eminent sharpness. This type of shuriken has spread beyond the Fūma clan, though, as Sasuke Uchiha used one during his fight with Zabuza Momochi.
While travelling the world during his younger years, Jiraiya faced a member of this clan in battle. Although the outcome of this battle is unknown, Jiraiya did manage to give this Fūma member a scar on his forehead. Years later, Jiraiya faced this same ninja again. This time, the Fūma member had been made into one of Pain's bodies. The scar on his head allowed Jiraiya to recognize him and subsequently all of Pain's other bodies as well.
The Hōzuki clan is a group of ninja that originated from Kirigakure. The only two known members are Mangetsu Hōzuki and Suigetsu Hōzuki.
The clan possess the ability to turn their bodies into a liquid form using the Hydration Technique. This ability however seems to require that they stay hydrated at all times so they tend to carry water bottles around with them.
The Hyūga clan is one of the four noble clans of Konohagakure.[1] All members born into this family possess the Byakugan, a kekkei genkai that gives them extended fields of vision and the ability to see the chakra circulatory system amongst other things.
The clan is separated into two parts, the main house and the branch house, a system that protects the secrets of the Byakugan from outsiders. The main house runs the family while the branch house protects it. The members of the branch house are branded with a cursed seal upon the next heir/heiress of the main house's third birthday. This seal gives the main house members absolute control over the branch members, because they can destroy the branch members' minds with a simple hand gesture, or cause them great pain to punish them. This seal also makes sure the secret of the Hyūga's Byakugan is safe, because it seals the Byakugan after the wearer of the seal dies. Because they are essentially servants, simply because of their birth order or heritage, some branch house members are hostile to those of the main house.
Members of the clan are instructed in the use of the Gentle Fist style, which uses the Byakugan to view the opponent's Chakra Pathway System and deal precise blows to disable and impede the flow of chakra. Due to training in this style, Hyūga clan members tend to have excellent chakra control. This is emphasized in jutsu that utilize this chakra control, as well as the nuances of the Gentle Fist style. The clan's strongest techniques, like the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, are only allowed to be taught to members of the main house. Neji Hyūga, however, has bypassed this restriction by learning them on his own, earning a reputation as a "genius" in the clan.
The Inuzuka clan or Inuzuka family is known for their use of ninken as fighting companions. The members of this clan are easily recognized by the fang-like markings on their cheeks. The members are also given their own canine partner(s) when they reach a certain age. Thereafter, the shinobi and their dog(s) are practically inseparable. Clan members have distinctive red fang markings on their cheeks, animalistic eyes, and elongated canine teeth. It would seem that due to the bond between a Inuzuka clan member and their canine partner(s), their chakra is allowed to mix and is shared between them, adding a feral appearance to the human partners, and makes a bond between them that affords them the use of the clan's collaboration jutsu, such as the Fang Passing Fang.
The Kaguyaclan is a now extinct clanin the show, known to have been very barbaric. Select few, namely Kimimaro, possessed the kekkei genkai Shikotsumyaku; this ability was so powerful that even the war-loving Kaguya clan feared it. With the exception of Kimimaro, the clan was killed off when attacking Kirigakure in a failed attempt to show off their ferocity. The clan was very savage and had no tactics when going to battle, and refused to back down even when surrounded and completely outmatched, preferring to fight to the death for fun. Kimimaro would for years live as the last member of the Kaguya clan, but eventually died of a terminal disease. Apparently, the members who possess the Shikotsumyaku abilities have a different bodily structure, as when Kimimaro was fatally ill, Kabuto Yakushi claimed there had been too little information on his body to give any medical treatment.
The Nara clan or Nara family is known for their manipulation of shadows and tending of deer, which graze in a large area of Nara clan forest. They have kept a book with medicine preparations and effects for generations which imply they are skilled in the area of medicine. Among the medicine described in this book are the secret pills used by the Akimichi clan.
Despite being considered geniuses, the men from this family are prone to being lazy and hard to motivate, but once the situation calls for it, they are very determined and loyal. Ironically, they tend to be attracted to stern, overbearing women. However, there appear to be other factors as well. The Nara men seem to hold women in high esteem, and as a result, willingly defer to their female partners. Shikaku Nara tells his son "Without women, men can't be born. Without women, men go to ruin. Even the hardest of women will show a sweet side to the man she loves and respects."
The Nara clan has a special relationship with the Akimichi clan and Yamanaka clan. For generations, members of these three families have formed an "Ino-Shika-Chō trio", named after the first part of the names of the members. The Nara members are the "Shika" in the trio. To strengthen the unity between the three clans, a member of the Sarutobi clan will give them special earrings to present to each generation when they swear their oaths. The Sarutobi clan is an influential clan from Konohagakure. It has produced several notable members who have held positions of high authority, such as Hokage, or membership in the Twelve Guardian Ninja. All known members have been observed devotees of the Will of Fire.
The members of this clan seem to be able to easily master high-level jutsu, as Hiruzen Sarutobi was revered as the "God of Shinobi", and Konohamaru Sarutobi managed to learn A-Rank techniques, such as the Shadow Clone Technique and the Rasengan, at a young age.
To strengthen the unity between the Akimichi, Nara, and Yamanaka clans, it has become a tradition that a member of the Sarutobi clan will give each of them special earrings to present to the current generation when they swear their oaths.
The Senju clan was considered the strongest clan in the ninja world during the war-torn era before the founding of the hidden villages. Together with their rivals, the Uchiha clan, they were responsible for founding Konohagakure and making the village into what it is today. They are also distant relatives of the Uzumaki clan.
The Senju clan is descended from the younger of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths. He was born with the "body" of the Sage, inheriting his father's strength of will and physical energy. The Sage's younger son believed that love was the key to bringing peace to the world. The Sage grew to favor the ideals of his younger son over those of his older son, who believed that power alone was the true key to finding peace. Therefore, on his deathbed it was the younger of the two brothers that the Sage chose to name as his successor. The elder brother, bitter and hateful at having being denied what he felt was rightfully his to inherit, attacked his younger sibling. The Uchiha clan would descend from the elder brother, resulting in the bitter centuries-long rivalry between the Senju and the Uchiha.
The Uchiha clan was one of the four noble clans of Konohagakure, but is now almost extinct in the show after the events of the Uchiha clan Massacre.
The Uchiha were famous for their powerful chakra, exceptionally strong techniques, and natural aptitude for anything combat-related. The clan possessed a proficiency in fire jutsu, having created several and using them more skilfully than any other. Their signature jutsu was the Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique. Clan members were not recognized as adults by the rest of the clan until they could successfully use this jutsu. The Uchiha were also highly known for their mastery of ninja tools. They themselves invented many shuriken move sets which required the use of thin metal wires, one example being the Windmill Triple Blades technique.
The Uchiha clan were most feared for their powerful Sharingan, a kekkei genkai which gives them the ability to see the "colours" of chakra, allowing them to analyse and copy their opponent's skills, along with a number of other abilities. Only a select few members of the Uchiha clan manifested the Sharingan. Due to their natural affinity for battle, and their proficiency with eye genjutsu, many ninjas considered it more tactically favourable to flee rather than face an Uchiha shinobi in one-on-one combat. Among the techniques granted by the Sharingan, the Izanagi is deemed to be forbidden, due to it rendering the user blind in exchange for temporarily manipulating reality and fantasy within the user's own personal space, such as turning injuries and even death inflicted upon the user into mere illusions. Though the clan was feared for their Sharingan, the eyes have also been transplanted into various characters outside the clan. Madara Uchiha was the first to develop an advanced form of the Sharingan, the Mangekyō Sharingan, which can be activated by the pain of losing close friends or family members. However, frequent use of the Mangekyō Sharingan deteriorates the user's eyesight and results in blindness. Only by taking the eyes of a sibling can one's vision be restored. Itachi indicated that the intricacies of the Mangekyō Sharingan were only discovered after years of trial and error, implying that many Uchiha throughout history had made the attempt to gain the Mangekyō Sharingan.
The Uzumakiclan was a prominent clan in Uzushiogakure. They were also distant relatives of the Senju clan and thus both clans were on good terms; an alliance that extended onto their Hidden Villages - Konohagakure and Uzushiogakure. Members of this clan were very knowledgeable of fūinjutsu. This reputation earned them renown and fear worldwide, which eventually led to the destruction of Uzushio, and the rest of the Land of Whirlpools during the era of Shinobi World Wars. (In the roleplay I’ll just place Uzushiogakure somewhere in the Land of Water.)
The members of this clan possess incredible longevity. One case of the Uzumaki clan's longevity lived from before the founding of Konoha well into the term of the Third Hokage's reign. This vitality was the reason Kushina Uzumaki survived the extraction of her tailed beast, though she was greatly weakened.
The Yamanaka clan is a family of ninja found in Konohagakure. They own and run a flower shop in the village and specializes in mind related techniques
The members of this clan specialize in mind-centred techniques which makes them experts at intelligence gathering and espionage. They have also displayed sensory abilities and their techniques include transferring consciousness, reading minds and communicating telepathically.

The Yamanaka clan has a special relationship with the Akimichi clan and Nara clan. For generations, members of these three families have formed an "Ino-Shika-Chō Trio", named after the first part of the names of the members. The Yamanaka members are the "Ino" in the trio. The Yuki clan lived in the Land of Water. Some time ago, the country was in the midst of a civil war. In this war, different sides battled each other using ninja, some of whom possessed kekkei genkai. After the war ended, memories of the horrific battles still lingered in the minds of the people, causing wide-spread persecutions against those with kekkei genkai. Because of this, the Yuki clan, whose members carried the Ice Release kekkei genkai, went into hiding.
Haku and his mother, both deceased, were the only known members of this clan. What happened to the rest of the clan is unknown, but it is assumed that they were either killed or, like Haku's mother, went to live peaceful lives living as normal people, without revealing their bloodline. Memories of the clan still linger, its members and kekkei genkai being called "cursed" even during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
TheKamizuru clan is a clan of bee users from Iwagakure who were once very well known. They don't wear Iwagakure forehead protectors for some reason.
The Kedōin clan is a small clan led by Agari Kaisen. Its members have the ability to copy someone's appearance, so well that it can't be exposed by ninken. However, they cannot copy techniques and other abilities. After a few days the clan member who used the technique returns to normal.
Exclusive to the anime, the Kurama clan is a clan of extremely skilled genjutsu users. This talent in genjutsu is due to the unnamed kekkei genkai that the clan possesses. However, once every few generations, a member of the clan will be born with such enormous skill in genjutsu that their illusions can actually produce tangible effects that occur in reality. The genjutsu is so powerful that it causes the brain to make anything that happens to the victim within the genjutsu physically real, allowing the clan member to potentially kill their opponents with genjutsu.
Such frightening power is not without its drawbacks, however. The user can rarely control the full extent of their abilities, and as such their subconscious will often regulate that power, leading to the creation of a second personality in control of that power. This personality then overwhelms the original, turning the individual into a monster that is a danger to everyone around them. They were originally one of the more prominent clans in Konohagakure, but the number of ninja in the clan has severely dwindled.
The Tsuchigumo clan is a clan that formed a pact with the Third Hokage during the Third Shinobi World War. The clan's leader at that time, En no Gyōja, developed a jutsu that could wipe out an entire village. By terms of the pact with the Third Hokage, En no Gyōja declared the jutsu to be forbidden, in exchange for protection provided by Konoha in times of need. The clan has a small fort on Mount Katsuragi that is surrounded by a barrier, and a field with many hidden traps. Additionally, they also have their own hidden village.
[size=9]Chakra is essential to even the most basic jutsu; it is a mixture of the physical energy present in every cell of the body and the spiritual energy gained from exercise and experience. Once mixed, it can be channeled through the chakra circulatory system, which is to chakra as the regular circulatory system is to blood, to any of the 361 chakra points (called tenketsu) in the body. Through various methods, the most common of which is hand seals, the chakra can then be manipulated to create an effect that would not be possible otherwise, such as walking on water, exhaling fire or creating illusions.
By mixing different ratios of the two energies, new types of chakra can be formed. The most common product is elemental chakra, which is used to perform elemental jutsu. Most ninja have a natural affinity to one type of chakra, but they have the capacity to create elemental chakra apart from their own affinity. There are six basic types, each stronger and weaker to another; five have been shown so far, but their relations, weaknesses, and strengths to each other are all explored, the sixth dealing with Yin and Yang and the balance of mental and physical energies. In addition to these six elements, certain kekkei genkai can mix elemental chakra to form new elements, such as ice (wind and water), wood (earth and water) and lava (earth and fire). While many ninja can use more than one type of chakra, very few are able to use them simultaneously.
Normal chakra is a form of energy all living individuals naturally produce to some degree. Contained in the "chakra coils" that mainly surround and connect to each chakra-producing organ, the energy circulates throughout the body in a network called the "chakra circulatory system" (similar to the cardiovascular system). Certain groups, such as ninja, have learned to generate more chakra and release it outside their bodies through their "chakra points" (tenketsu) in order to perform special techniques (jutsu). Chakra is not normally visible to the human eye, though chakra can be seen in situations where a person releases as much of their chakra as possible. This is rarely seen due to the restrictions of certain chakra points (Eight Gates), limiting the amount of chakra an individual can release at a single given time. Chakra can also be visible when doing a specific jutsu (such as the Rasengan) which take a high degree of chakra control to perform.
Out of the many different types of jutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu, dōjutsu, and so on, all require the use of chakra. However, taijutsu is different, usually requiring no chakra use whatsoever. Stamina is all that is needed. While the ninja still needs a set amount of chakra to live (i.e. life force energy), regular taijutsu doesn't require any active moulding or manipulation of chakra (with few exceptions). A standard attack like a punch or kick falls into this jutsu category.
Chakra is the resulting form of energy when two other forms of energy are mixed together. The two energies are referred to as "physical energy" and "spiritual energy". Physical energy is collected from the body's cells and can be increased through training, stimulants, and exercise. Spiritual energy is derived from the mind's consciousness (i.e. the soul) and can be increased through studying, meditation, and experience. Having these two energies become more powerful will in-turn make the created chakra more powerful. Therefore, practicing a jutsu repeatedly will build-up experience, building up one's spiritual energy, and thus allowing more chakra to be created. As a result, the ninja is able to do that same jutsu with more power. This same cycle applies for physical energy, except this time, instead of doing things like meditation, the ninja could, say, do push-ups.
The general term for the source of chakra, the overall physical and spiritual energy an individual has, is called "total stamina". The maximum amount of chakra an individual can create and retain at a given time is called their "chakra level".
In Naruto, chakra takes time and a great deal of training to gradually build up; thus, the key is not actually having chakra, but being able to sufficiently control and conserve it. Everyone has chakra, but only skilled ninja can correctly "mold" and "manipulate" it to its fullest extent, this is called Chakra Control.
Molding chakra involves the extraction of energies from the body's cells and the mind's consciousness, then mixing them together within the individual. The amount of each energy will differ based on the type of technique the ninja wishes to execute. In other words, a ninja could create too much or too little chakra for a given Jutsu, resulting in the chakra being used inefficiently. In addition, even if a ninja is able to mold the correct amount of chakra, if they cannot manipulate the chakra properly, the desired Jutsu will not be as effective or will not execute at all. Wasting energy will also create weaknesses like early exhaustion, which would hinder the ninja's capacity to fight long term battles. General training methods for improving one's molding and manipulation of chakra are the Leaf Concentration, Tree Climbing, and Water Walking exercises.

As an in-between stage, some ninja can partially control their chakra. This means they can use their chakra, but not effectively control it, which results in a poorly executed Jutsu. To manipulate their chakra more easily, hand seals can be used. With these hand seals, users can control their chakra with higher efficiency, allowing them to execute their Jutsu more effectively. Different Jutsu require different hand seals.
When creating a ninjutsu, the two methods of manipulating chakra are referred to as Shape Transformation and Nature Transformation.
-Shape Transformation deals with controlling the form, movement, and potency of chakra.
-Nature Transformation usually deals with changing the physical properties of chakra into an element. There is also the Nature Transformation of Yin and Yang, which deals with changing the ratio of physical and spiritual energies within chakra.
These two methods can be implemented separately or together in order to create a Jutsu.
The general term for the exact molding and proper manipulation of chakra is called "chakra control". People with skilled chakra control are usually Medical-nin or Sensor-types, both of which requires extreme control over chakra to be effective.
A good way to build up chakra in the body is to spin it into a tight spiral. Whether to spin the chakra left or right is dependent on the way the user's hair grows, either to the right or left. An opponent can negate a Jutsu by absorbing it and reversing the spin of the chakra within their own body.
Shape Transformation is an advanced form of chakra control and a technique that is pivotal for the manipulating of chakra and the creation of new jutsu. It involves changing the form and movement of chakra, determining the size, range, and purpose of a jutsu.
The ultimate example of shape manipulation is the Rasengan, which is described as shape manipulation that has been taken "to the highest possible level". The Rasengan relies heavily on chakra control and does not require the use of Hand Seals. By building up on precepts learned from the Tree Climbing Practice and Water Surface Walking Practice chakra control exercises, the Rasengan is chakra that has been rotated and then compressed into the shape of a sphere. Jinchūriki, when transforming through their progressive forms into their tailed beast, have their chakra molded around them to resemble the shape of their tailed beast. Through further transformations, the tailed beast chakra can materialize into the flesh and bone of the tailed beast.
Shape Transformation is one of two necessary techniques for creating or modifying a jutsu with its counterpart being Nature Transformation. While Shape Transformation changes the form and movement of chakra, Nature Transformation changes the actual nature of the chakra, altering its properties and characteristics. Because of this, a technique like the Rasengan can be turned into the Wind Release: Rasengan or Wind Release: Rasenshuriken. The cutting nature of Wind Release, combined with the spiralling movement of chakra, can change the chakra into millions of minuscule blades in a spiralling formation, as seen when Naruto Uzumaki used his Wind Release: Rasenshuriken against Kakuzu.
Nature Transformation is an advanced form of chakra control and a technique that is pivotal for the manipulation of chakra and the creation of new jutsu. While Shape Transformation changes the shape and movement of chakra, elemental nature transformation changes the actual nature of the chakra, altering its properties and characteristics. It is notable that few shinobi can use both shape manipulation and nature manipulation.
Nature Manipulation/Transformation is one of two necessary techniques for creating a jutsu, its counterpart being Shape Transformation. Nature Manipulation entails the molding and defining of one's chakra into an innate type of chakra nature.
There are five basic type into which the nature of chakra can be transformed, called the Five Elements Nature Transformations. These five types are also called elements and are not only the origin of the names of the Five Great Shinobi Countries, but also the foundation of all elemental ninjutsu. The five basic natures are all connected to each other in a circle, each being weaker than one and stronger than another.
These elements allow for elemental ninjutsu to be performed:

-Fire (火, Hi) natured chakra allows for Fire Release (火遁, Katon), which is strong against Wind but weak against Water.
-Wind (風, Kaze) natured chakra allows for Wind Release (風遁, Fūton), which is strong against Lightning but weak against Fire.
-Lightning (雷, Kaminari) natured chakra allows for Lightning Release (雷遁, Raiton), which is strong against Earth but weak against Wind.
-Earth (土, Tsuchi) natured chakra allows for Earth Release (土遁, Doton), which is strong against Water but weak against Lightning.
-Water (水, Mizu) natured chakra allows for Water Release (水遁, Suiton), which is strong against Fire but weak against Earth.
Circle of Elements
Basically, this means that if an elemental jutsu is put against an elemental jutsu of the same level, but of a stronger nature, then the jutsu with the superior nature will prevail. However, a jutsu with a weaker nature can overpower a jutsu with a stronger nature if the former is of a higher level.
For relationships between chakra natures, there is a principle known as counterbalancing. This principle states that two techniques of the same nature would cancel each other out if the same amount of chakra was put into them. For example, in Kakashi's fight with Kakuzu, he was able to cancel Kakuzu's Lightning Release: False Darkness by deflecting it with his own technique, the Lightning Cutter.
However, if one of the techniques had more chakra put into it, it would overcome the other technique. Not only that, but the stronger technique would absorb the weaker one, and the user of the weaker technique would receive more damage than the original amount, as he will have added to the technique. For example, in Sasuke's fight with Itachi, they both use the Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique against each other, and Sasuke's technique begins to overwhelm Itachi's only when he activates his Cursed Seal of Heaven. Itachi responds to this by using Amaterasu, the highest level Fire Release technique, which takes over all the fire previously created by the two techniques, and absorbs it and grows to the point of blacking out Sasuke's range of vision.
AffinityIn general, every person has chakra that has an affinity towards one of these types, a characteristic that seems to be genetic, since whole clans sometimes share the same affinity. Most members of the Uchiha clan, for example, had an affinity towards the Fire nature.
To find out what affinity someone has, pieces of paper made from a special type of tree (that are grown and fed with chakra) are used that react to even the slightest hint of chakra in any of a number of ways, depending on the nature latent in the chakra.
The Chakra Paper reactions are as follows:
-Fire: the Paper will ignite and turn to ash.
-Wind: the Paper will split in two.
-Lightning: the Paper will wrinkle.
-Earth: the Paper will turn to dirt and crumble away.
-Water: the Paper will become wet/damp.
This affinity makes it easier to learn how to create and control the nature in question, although even with an affinity this process will usually take any number of years. Shinobi are not limited to the nature they have an affinity to, though. By the time they reach the rank of Jōnin, most shinobi have mastered two natures. However, because of the difficulty of mastering a nature and the time required to learn it, it is almost impossible to master all five natures in a normal way. However, people who are born with the Rinnegan possess all the elements, while Kakuzu got them by stealing the hearts, and chakra, of others. Those who wield the Bashōsen can also use all five elements.
Besides the five basic nature types, there are several more advanced types. By initiating more than one basic chakra nature transformation simultaneously, one can create a completely new nature of chakra with unique properties, and is referred to as a "elementally-recomposed nature type". Doing this requires a special ability and such abilities are rarely seen outside a kekkei genkai or kekkei tōta.
So far, thirteen advanced natures have been shown, and several more created by me or other users:
-The Ice (氷, Kōri) nature, used by Haku and the Yuki clan, is created by simultaneously combining the Water and Wind natures. This nature allows for the use of Ice Release ninjutsu. Used through a kekkei genkai.
-The Wood (木, Ki) nature, used by Hashirama Senju, Yamato, and Danzō Shimura, is created by simultaneously combining the Earth and Water natures. This nature allows for the use of Wood Release ninjutsu. Used through a kekkei genkai.
-The Lava nature, used by the Four-Tailed Monkey and its jinchūriki Rōshi in the show, as well as Mei Terumī and Kurotsuchi, is created by simultaneously combining the Fire and Earth natures. This nature allows for the use of Lava Release The Four-Tails and Rōshi used it through a Tailed Beast Skill, while Mei and Kurotsuchi used it through a kekkei genkai.
-The Crystal nature, used by Guren, is possibly created by simultaneously combining the Earth nature and another unspecified nature. This nature allows for the use of Crystal Release ninjutsu.
- The Blaze nature, used by Sasuke Uchiha, originates from the flames of Amaterasu and allows the use of Blaze Release ninjutsu. It is unknown what this nature entails.
-The Storm nature, used by Darui, and stolen by Hiruko, is created by simultaneously combining the Lightning and Water natures. This nature allows for the use of Storm Release ninjutsu. Used through a kekkei genkai.
-The Boil nature, used by Mei Terumī, is created by simultaneously combining the Water and Fire natures. This nature allows for the use of Boil Release ninjutsu. Used through a kekkei genkai.
-The Dust nature, used by Ōnoki and Mū, created by simultaneously combining the Fire, Earth and Wind natures. This nature allows for the use of Dust Release ninjutsu. Used through a kekkei tōta.
-The Dark nature, stolen by Hiruko, allows the use of Dark Release ninjutsu. It is unknown what this nature entails. Used through a kekkei genkai. (Movie-only)
-The Steel nature, stolen by Hiruko, allows the use of Steel Release ninjutsu. It is unknown what this nature entails. Used through a kekkei genkai. (Movie-only)
-The Swift nature, stolen by Hiruko, allows the use of Swift Release ninjutsu. It is unknown what this nature entails. Used through a kekkei genkai. (Movie-only)
-The Explosion nature, used by Gari and Deidara, allows for the use of Explosion Release ninjutsu. It is unknown what this nature entails. Used through a kekkei genkai.
-The Scorching Heat nature, used by Pakura, allows for the use of Scorch Release ninjutsu. It is unknown what this nature entails. Used through a kekkei genkai.
Advanced Elemental Relationships
While Nature Transformation changes the actual nature of the chakra, Shape Transformation allows a ninja to change the actual shape and actions of the chakra, altering its abilities. Because of this, a technique like the Rasengan can be turned into the Wind Release: Rasengan or the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken, because of Wind Release being joined with the movement of chakra. The cutting nature of wind-natured chakra is used in conjunction with the form of millions of minuscule blades in a spiralling formation, resulting in a much more powerful technique, as seen when used against Kakuzu.
Aside from the five basic types of nature transformation, there is also a sixth type: the Yin, the basis of imagination and spiritual energy, used to perform Yin Release; and the Yang, the basis of vitality and physical energy, used to perform Yang Release. Together, they are used to perform Yin-Yang Release. Yamato implied that the Yin and Yang are the source of non-elemental jutsu such as the Shadow Imitation Technique, Multi-Size Technique, medical ninjutsu, genjutsu, etc.
The transformation of the Yin and Yang has to do with altering the amounts of and balance between spiritual and physical energy in chakra. As explained by Shikamaru Nara, Tayuya's spirit worms were forms of spiritual energy that have small amounts of physical energy, thus they require stability and feed upon the physical energy they lack. Shikamaru also mentioned that Tayuya was the same type of ninja as he is, being able to use such kinds of "special chakra" in battle, supporting the belief that the Nara clan's shadow-based jutsu is also Yin and Yang-based
Tailed-Beast Chakra In the Naruto world, there are nine tailed beasts, ancient malevolent demons with immense supplies of chakra. In fact, they are nothing more than concentrations of chakra that have taken on a corporeal form (mind and body). During the Great Shinobi Wars, each country's Hidden Village tried to make use of the tailed beasts for military purposes and competed for them. However, no one was ever able to truly bring the tailed beasts under control. The only way to partially control them is to seal them within a human with powerful sealing techniques. The hosts of the tailed beasts are called jinchūriki.
The jinchūriki can tap into the tailed beast's chakra for his or her own power; however, using such chakra can be harmful to the jinchūriki, with the host's body and mind being influenced or even taken over by his or her demon. In the case of Naruto Uzumaki, when he used the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's chakra and reached his four-tailed form, the chakra was so concentrated around his body that it constantly burned his flesh and repaired his body right away, shortening his lifespan. Tapping into such unnatural chakra is very harmful to the host, as the host's personality gets suppressed by the animalistic blood lust of the tailed beasts and the intensity of chakra will harm the host if used for extended periods of time. As an exception, where the jinchūriki has control over his tailed beasts, these ill-effects are not evident as in the case of Killer Bee, when he creates a chakra cloak by drawing on part of his tailed beast's power or fully releasing the Eight-Tails' body, no damage can be seen from his body. With Naruto having learned to control the Nine-Tails, such damage to his body may now be avoided, but this is yet to be seen.
Senjutsu chakra, the chakra needed to perform senjutsu, is chakra that contains the energy found in nature itself. It's a powerful source of energy, able to grant a ninja increased strength, speed, and endurance for taijutsu, as well as enhancing the power of one's ninjutsu and genjutsu. Sage chakra is created through the three-way mixing and balancing of one's physical energy and spiritual energy, as well as the natural energy from the atmosphere/air and terrain/ground. Since the three energies need to be equally balanced, the higher one's personal chakra capacity (physical energy and spiritual energy), the more natural energy they can add to the mix. Only those with a large chakra capacity can gather the natural energy needed for entering a powerful state called Sage Mode. Also, only when a person remains "perfectly still", no longer disrupting the flow of nature around them like ripples in a pond, can they properly feel and harness natural energy. Remaining completely still for a period of time takes a great deal of concentration and patience, requiring a highly motivated and calm state of mind.
Dark Chakra is a special chakra formed from the negative emotions of the heart. Created by the Zero-Tailed Masked Leech as it feeds on the negative emotions of the people around it, it is shown to be extremely powerful, being used to power the Land of the Sky's Ancor Vantian and grants Shinnō powerful techniques with seemingly no drawback, though it eventually destroys the mind, and rots the soul of the user.
Jutsu are the mystical arts a ninja will utilize in battle. To use a jutsu, the ninja will need to use their chakra. To perform a jutsu, the ninja will bring out and release the two energies of chakra. By forming hand seals, the ninja is able to manifest the desired jutsu. Because of the extensive number of hand seals and different combinations, there are thousands of potential jutsu to be discovered.
Molding Chakra to Create Techniques
The Basics There are three basic types of jutsu: ninjutsu, genjutsu and taijutsu. Subcategories exist, including fūinjutsu, juinjutsu and senjutsu. There are also Kekkei Genkai abilities which aren't jutsu, but inherited abilities passed down through certain clans (however, they can be used as base for certain jutsu, such as Haku's Demonic Ice Crystal Mirrors). Kekkei genkai can also be attributed to certain parts of the body, such as dōjutsu.
Without proper control of their chakra, a ninja will produce ineffective or weakened jutsu which will lead to them running out of chakra early in a fight. To manipulate their chakra more easily, hand seals can be used. With these hand seals, users can control their chakra and jutsu with higher efficiency. Different jutsu require different hand seals.
Ranks Depending on the difficulty or skill necessary to perform a jutsu, they are ranked differently. There are six different ranks in jutsu:
-E-rank - Learned by Academy Students. Are the basic and most fundamental jutsu for all ninja.
-D-rank - Genin level techniques. Can be achieved by all Genin, though many ninja only learn their "type" of technique.
-C-rank - Chūnin level techniques. Sometimes learned by Genin who have trained extensively.
-B-rank - Jōnin level techniques. Require high levels of chakra to use.
-A-rank - Kage or Jōnin level techniques. Require great control over one's chakra and may be forbidden.
-S-rank - Secret, extreme level techniques. Are typically unique to a single user.
Kekkei Genkai, unique abilities and Tailed Beast Skills normally do not have a rank.
Main Jutsu Types Ninjutsu refers to any technique that utilizes chakra and allows the user to perform actions that a normal person otherwise would be incapable of doing. Unlike genjutsu, which causes the opponent to experience illusions, the effects of ninjutsu are real and physical in most cases. Ninjutsu relies on chakra and, most of the time, hand seals to be effective. The hands are put in sequential positions that molds and manipulates chakra in the necessary manner to perform a jutsu. This is not always needed, however, and some jutsu become second nature to experienced ninja, after which they can perform them at will. Additionally, many ninjutsu can be classified as an elemental jutsu, in those cases where a specific element (wind, water, fire, earth, lightning) is used. It can be used in collaboration with Taijutsu to create Nintaijutsu techniques. When creating a ninjutsu, the two methods of manipulating chakra are referred to as Shape Transformation and Nature Transformation:
-Shape Transformation deals with controlling the form, movement, and potency of chakra.
-Nature Transformation usually deals with changing the physical properties of chakra into an element. (There is also the Nature Transformation of Yin and Yang, but little is revealed about this)
These two methods can be implemented separately or together in order to create a ninjutsu. Genjutsu are techniques that are employed in the same fashion as ninjutsu, requiring chakra and hand seals. However, the primary difference between the two is that the effects of genjutsu are illusory; instead of attacking the victim's body, like taijutsu or ninjutsu, genjutsu techniques manipulate the flow of chakra in the victim's brain, thus causing a disruption in their senses.
This is often used to create false images or to cause pain from trauma (because the body is led to believe it is in pain); however, there are plenty of other uses depending on the situation. They are not used as often as ninjutsu because they don't physically harm the opponent, but several characters have made themselves well-known for their great prowess with genjutsu like Itachi Uchiha, Kurenai Yūhi, and Tayuya. However, there exists at least one genjutsu, Izanagi, that has the opposite effects to normal genjutsu, by changing reality to illusion and vice versa.
Genjutsu is created when a ninja extends their chakra flow through the cerebral nervous system of their opponent to control their mind's chakra, thereby affecting their five senses. Those with special abilities like the Uchiha clan's Sharingan or with high intelligence have an easier time executing and countering genjutsu, as attention to detail is key. Those under the influence of genjutsu either freeze in place or lose consciousness, depending on how capable they are in recognizing and defending against it.
Genjutsu attacks usually require a lot of skill, and, if performed incorrectly, will not work; even Jiraiya had trouble performing such techniques. Genjutsu is most often used by ninja with very precise chakra control and very high intelligence, the most notable being Itachi Uchiha.
Because genjutsu affects activity throughout the Pros encephalon structure of the brain, humans, dogs and other species of mammal are therefore all affected by genjutsu; however, the kikaichū, like all insects, lack such a structure to their brains, and so do not even notice it: as Shino Aburame put it, insects are ruled almost solely by five powerful senses alone, which makes them immune to genjutsu and gives the Aburame clan an ability to detect it when nobody else can.
Shikamaru Nara states that among genjutsu the most dangerous are those that affect the opponent with sound allowing the user to stay out of sight. Tayuya is a great example of this sound-based, long-range type of combat.
To combat the effects of genjutsu, there are several options:
The first option is for the ninja to stop the flow of chakra in their body, and then apply an even stronger power to disrupt the flow of the caster's chakra; this is called Genjutsu Release. This can also be done by an unaffected ninja by applying a sudden surge of chakra into the affected person. In addition, tailed beasts can break their jinchūriki out of genjutsu in a similar fashion if they have a good enough cooperation, as seen in Killer Bee's case.
The second option is through intense pain not caused by the genjutsu and utilizing the resulting pain to bring their senses back in order (of the first two options, the latter seems more effective in most situations, or at least is the easiest).
The third option is accessible only to Sharingan wielders. Members of the Uchiha clan can break or see through genjutsu using their Sharingan. Breaking Tsukuyomi is possible with an ordinary Sharingan, but requires a lot of skill.
Fourthly, ordinary people can sometimes train their eyes (without Sharingan) to break genjutsu through unknown means, like Deidara.
Finally, one can prevent a person from casting genjutsu using obstructive techniques like the Hidden Mist Technique to prevent one from seeing the opponent in the first place, as Zabuza demonstrated against Kakashi.
In spite of these methods, some forms of genjutsu like Itachi's Tsukuyomi and Shima and Fukasaku's Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Singing may not be broken easily, either due to their near-instant effect like the former, or their ability to render one unconscious and paralysed altogether like the latter. In addition, one must realize that he or she is under the effects of genjutsu before attempting to break out of it. This can be done by observing the changes in one's own chakra like Karin's chakra-sensing ability. Taijutsu is a basic form of jutsu that typically does not require chakra, but chakra may be used to enhance techniques. Taijutsu generally require no hand seals to perform and are much quicker to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taijutsu is simply put, hand-to-hand combat.
Although it is used by nearly all ninja, some characters use taijutsu almost exclusively like Rock Lee and his teacher Might Guy, and are experts of many taijutsu techniques. Example of taijutsu techniques are Dynamic Entry and Leaf Whirlwind. The Hyūga clan's Gentle Fist, however, makes extensive use of chakra and demands great skill in its control. The taijutsu techniques are the right choices for those that want to save their time and chakra, or for those who rely on their physical attributes. It can also be used in collaboration with ninjutsu to create nintaijutsu techniques.
Sub Jutsu Types Barrier ninjutsu is the incorporation of barriers into technique. Essentially these techniques allow the users to manipulate barriers. The user can erect barriers that can be used to protect themselves or to trap an opponent amongst other various uses.
A chakra absorption technique is a jutsu that allows the user to absorb an opponent's chakra.
Chakra flow refers to any technique that increases the potency of a weapon by flowing chakra through it. Usually, elemental chakra is used to flow through bladed weapons in order to either dramatically increase their various pre-existing properties or to gain additional advantageous effects. Although, another meaning of chakra flow can instead refer to the flowing of chakra through one's body, such as A's Lightning Release Armour, to increase close-quarter combat offence and defence. However, whether through an individual's body or weapon, the exact effects observed are entirely dependent upon the respective nature and amount of the chakra used.
Clone Techniques are techniques that create a copy of the user or objects used by them. The standard Clone Technique is considered the most basic of basic ninjutsu. Despite this, clone techniques are very versatile and useful, and are often used to distract or fool enemies into thinking that they have delivered a critical or fatal hit to the user, leaving the enemy vulnerable. The various villages have created their own characteristic forms of clone techniques. Besides these, there are a dozens of other clone techniques in existence, some of which are extraordinarily difficult to use.
There are various methods of creating clones. The most commonly used clone techniques use only chakra to create the clone. After these, clone techniques that use a medium seem to be most common. These clone techniques use various elements to give the clone form and substance. There are also clone techniques that transform another person or animal into a clone of the user. Finally, there are clone techniques that make use of genjutsu to create illusionary clones.
Collaboration jutsu, also synchronized or combination jutsu, pertains to a branch of jutsu which entail powerful techniques that are actually comprised of at least two or more pre-existing jutsu. When initiated with the right timing, one will feed into each other to become a jutsu of greater power than the sum of its parts.
Fūinjutsu are a type of jutsu that seal objects, living beings, chakra, along with a wide variety of other things within another object.
Hiden jutsu are passed down from generation to generation in certain regions or clans. The groups possessing these techniques are usually extremely secretive about them. They ensure that no one other than the members of the group learn them. Only a few hiden jutsu require a special ability or lineage. These jutsu are usually the pride and fame of the clan that possesses them.
Juinjutsu are a type of jutsu used to bring someone under the control of the user. By applying a seal to the victim's body, the user brings the victim's abilities and actions under his/her control.
Kenjutsu pertains to techniques that entail the use of swords, whether the users be shinobi or samurai.
Kinjutsu are techniques that have been banned from being taught or used.
Nintaijutsu is a term used to describe the fighting style used by the Fourth Raikage. A combination of ninjutsu and taijutsu, the Raikage uses nintaijutsu by first surrounding himself with his Lightning Release Armour. This augments the strength of his physical attacks, making them more deadly.
Reincarnation Ninjutsu are techniques that require or accomplish the transfer of life force between people. Under normal circumstances, due to the death of a person being involved, such techniques are generally classified as kinjutsu. The restoration of one life typically requires the sacrifice of another.
Senjutsu around a person. Senjutsu practitioners can then learn to draw the energy of nature inside of them blending it with their own chakra (created from spiritual and physical energy within the shinobi), adding a new dimension of power to the sage's chakra, resulting in the creation of "senjutsu chakra". This chakra cannot be seen by anyone other than those who have been trained in senjutsu.
Space–Time Ninjutsu are techniques that allow the users to manipulate the space–time continuum. By manipulating a specific point of space, the user can warp anything targeted into a dimensional void, and teleport it to another location instantaneously.
A tailed beast skill is a unique ability or trait used by tailed beasts. These traits can vary greatly among the beasts, from nature transformations to concentrating chakra into extra limbs. The tailed beast's abilities can be transferred to its jinchūriki as a means of self-preservation, as if the host dies, the beast dies as well. These abilities can meld with the jinchūriki resulting in the beasts' power becoming their own. The ultimate technique that all tailed beasts share is the Tailed Beast Ball, which allows them to fire a concentrated blast of pure chakra, causing massive devastation.
Blood Limit Types Kekkei genkai are abilities passed down genetically in specific clans. It's possible for a ninja to have more than one of these abilities. Kekkei genkai abilities that work via the user's eye are called dōjutsu. Other kekkei genkai include mixing one type of elemental chakra with another, creating a new one unique to the users, which is usually impossible for normal ninja.
Kekkei tōta is an advanced form of a kekkei genkai. The only known example is Dust Release, a combination of three different nature transformations.
Dōjutsu are genetic ninja abilities that utilize the eyes, enabling them to perceive chakra in some form or another. Being a by-product of specific kekkei genkai, dōjutsu are not classified as one of the major jutsu types. They do not require the use of hand seals and sometimes facilitate in the use or defence against genjutsu, taijutsu and ninjutsu and then defeat his or her opponent. All known dōjutsu also provide the user with some unique abilities, such as an extended field of vision or predictive capabilities. The use of Dōjutsu consumes chakra.
The Byakugan is the dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Hyūga clan. It is one of the three great dōjutsu, along with the Sharingan and the Rinnegan.
Those who inherit the blood of this clan have almost featureless white eyes (Neji's and Hinata's eyes seem to have tints of blue-grey and lavender, respectively). When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge. It also appears that unlike the other two dōjutsu, all members of the clan possess and can use the kekkei genkai from birth, as opposed to needing to awaken it.
The Byakugan's abilities have left it highly coveted by the other villages, as evidenced by Kumogakure's attempt to steal it during the Hyūga Affair. Ao of Kirigakure was able to obtain a Byakugan from an opponent he defeated, and goes to great lengths to protect it; at the same time, Danzō Shimura goes to equal lengths to retrieve or destroy it. Unlike a transplanted Sharingan, Ao's Byakugan can be activated and deactivated at will.
The first ability of the Byakugan gives the user a near 360º field of vision, except for one blind spot at the back of the neck above the third thoracic vertebra.
The second ability is being able to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The distance and the degree of telescopic sight varies from person to person, and can be improved. In Part I, Neji Hyūga was able to see an area of 50 meters, but later he increases his visual range to at least 800 meters, while Hinata Hyūga's range in Part II stretches at least as far as 10 km. However, the Byakugan cannot see through certain barriers, such as the Four Black Fog Battle Formation used by the Sound Four.
The third and one of the greatest uses of the Byakugan is the ability to see chakra, chakra flow as well as the chakra circulation system inside the body with great detail. It is from this particular ability that they are able to employ their ultimate attack style: Gentle Fist. Unlike the Strong Fist, which is focused on external injuries, the Gentle Fist style focuses on internal injuries. Each strike, when placed correctly, strikes along the chakra pathway system, which is the network of vessels that carry chakra. This network is closely intertwined with the functioning of the body's organs, and so, when the keirakukei take damage, the organs suffer as well. There is no defence against the Gentle Fist, since one cannot train one's internal organs to become stronger. The only possible defence is to stop the Gentle Fist's hits from connecting. Also, like the Sharingan and Rinnegan, the Byakugan's ability to see chakra and its flow allows the user to detect chakra sealed barriers. It was also shown in the anime that the Byakugan can also discern a transformation and a real person using the eye's ability to see chakra.
Particularly skilled users of the Byakugan can take the Gentle Fist style one step further. Along the keirakurei are 361 pinprick-sized nodes called tenketsu, or chakra points. When struck, the Byakugan user can choose to either seal, or forcibly open these tenketsu, thus giving the user complete control over their opponent's chakra system. So, with precision, all those points along the victim's body can be sealed, stopping the chakra flow to those areas. Able to strike without force, and yet do more damage to a ninja than some of the most powerful ninjutsu, the Gentle Fist has been labelled as the greatest taijutsu style known in all of Konohagakure.
The Rinnegan is one of the three great dōjutsu in the series and said to be the most powerful of them all. Its occurrence is so rare that many people once believed its existence was only a legend or a mutation.
The Rinnegan is characterized by a ripple-like pattern around the pupil, with a light purple iris and sclera. In addition to enabling the user to quickly master various jutsu, the user may also use all six forms of chakra nature transformation which, as noted by Ibiki Morino, literally allows its user to use any technique they wish. There are many abilities and it isn’t certain t what it’s full extent is.
The Sharingan is a dōjutsu kekkei genkai, which appears in some members of the Uchiha clan. It is one of the three great dōjutsu, along with the Byakugan and the Rinnegan. (Theres a lot to this, so look it up if you want to know more XD)
Seals are used to perform many ninjutsu, genjutsu, and other secret arts other than taijutsu. The exact amount of chakra necessary to perform a jutsu is manipulated through hand seals. There are different sequences of hand seals for every technique, requiring memorization.
While techniques may require a number of hand seals to work, a skilled ninja can use less or even one to perform the same technique. An example of this is the Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique, which requires a total of 44 hand seals to activate.Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage, only needed to use one hand seal to complete the technique, a testament to his skill.[3] In fact, by Part II, Sasuke Uchiha has managed to master the Chidori to the point of not needing a single hand seal to invoke it.
Although rare, it is possible for a shinobi to be able to do hand seals with just one hand. The only shinobi seen so far capable of this are Haku and Guren.
There are twelve basic seals, each one named after an animal of the Chinese zodiac.
Besides the twelve basic hand seals, there are unique hand seals used for certain techniques. These hand seals are rarely seen, and can be considered unique to specific jutsu. These Other Hand Seals are generated for different ways to prepare chakra, there are many hand signs passed down from bloom, clan, etc.
In the organized society of the villages, ninja are given Missions depending on their rank. The missions are categorized in five ranks, based on the mission's possible danger or level of importance. The money earned is usually split around in the group, and given to support the village.
-D-rank: assigned to genin fresh from the Ninja Academy. They pose almost no risk to the ninja's life and usually consist of odd jobs like farming and babysitting work. The reward for a D-rank mission is between five thousand and fifty thousand ryō.
-C-rank : assigned to more experienced genin or chūnin. They are missions anticipated to have some combat involved with the possibility of injury to the shinobi performing it. Examples are guarding people, background investigations, or capturing or suppressing wild animals. The reward for a C-rank mission is between thirty thousand and 100 thousand ryō.
-B-rank : assigned to experienced chūnin. They are missions anticipated to involve combat with other ninja. Examples are guarding people, espionage, or killing other ninja. The reward for a B-rank mission is between 150 thousand and 200 thousand ryō.
-A-rank : assigned to jōnin, concerning, among other things, village-or state-level matters and trends. Examples are guarding VIPs or suppressing ninja forces. The reward for an A-rank mission is between one hundred fifty thousand and a million ryō.
-S-rank: assigned to experienced jōnin and concern state-level confidential matters. Examples are assassinating VIPs, and transporting highly classified documents. The reward for an S-rank mission is more than a million ryō.
The Tailed Beasts are nine giant demons that serve to drive the plot of the Naruto series. They are differentiated by the number of tails they have, ranging from one to nine. The Tailed Beasts are large, living forms of chakra, sometimes referred to as "Chakra Monsters giving them power that far outmatches most shinobi. However, this immense strength is tempered due to their bestial nature, which restricts them from being intelligent enough to use it effectively. When the Tailed Beasts are sealed within humans, they are able to benefit from the knowledge of their hosts, giving them the ability to better utilize their powers. TheJinchūriki are humans that have tailed beasts sealed within them. They exhibit extraordinary powers, and in some cases are more powerful than their tailed beasts, because they have the intelligence to use the beasts' powers effectively.

Akatsuki is a criminal organization of S-Class missing-nin and is the most wanted group in all of the shinobi world. Their main goal is to collect all of the tailed beasts for their plan of world domination. They are the bringers of war and are huge enemies to all regions. Akatsuki at any given time is composed of no more than ten primary members, all of whom were S-Class criminals of their own respective villages, with the exception of Nagato and Konan. Members always work in teams of two with the exception of Zetsu, who functions as the organization’s spy, and make use of their unique skills to the team's advantage. Team members must function very well or at least to accomplish their task even though they have mutual problems with each other. The organization is rarely fully assembled, as seen in the end of Part I, when one member said it was the first time in seven years when they were all together.
Akatsuki is widespread, spanning several countries with agents in various places. When one team finds a tailed beast and has to begin the job of sealing the beast, they have hidden hideouts with many traps ready, to do the three-day long jutsu.
The Sealing Technique: Illusionary Dragon Nine Consuming Seals is a jutsu that was used by Pain and the other members of Akatsuki to forcibly drain the spirit and chakra of the tailed beasts from their still-living jinchūriki, then to seal it in what appeared to be the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. The jutsu took three full days to complete if nine of the Akatsuki members were present. Kisame Hoshigaki suggested that it "may take longer without Orochimaru". When reduced to three people, Zetsu claimed that, with so few people left to perform the jutsu, it would take a while.
To prepare for the jutsu, Pain would summon the sealing statue(so in the roleplay someone else has to summon it :3), after which each member would then stand on one of its fingertips, corresponding to their specific ring finger. When performed, this jutsu caused the bit to fall out of the mouth of the statue. Each of the Akatsuki members would then concentrate, causing the kanji of their rings to appear on the nail of the finger they were standing on. Nine dragon-like effigies then poured from the statue's mouth, surrounded the captured host, and removed the tailed beast from them (the process seems to be quite agonizing to the host). In the case of an unsealed tailed beast, the same thing happened to the beast itself, and still took as much time as if it were sealed. After the process was complete, the beast was sealed within the statue, and one of the statue's nine eyes opened. The host then died due to the removal of their tailed beast. The Nine-Tailed Demon Fox must be sealed last, or the statue would shatter. The goal of doing this, was to create a weapon for each and every beast, and possibly completing world domination.

Her father is the Village Head of Kirigakure; Takuma Hozuki. Her mother is also a powerful Jonin ninja, belonging to the Kurama Clan; Anina Kurama. She's an only child with no siblings but has a few cousins on her mothers side. Her fathers family is mostly deceased, but her uncle's son, Gorou Hozuki, lives with her and her family. Her cousins include Hibiki and Hideaki Kurama who are children to her aunt and uncle Asuka and Karino Kurama, and Etsuko Kurama is her favorite and youngest aunt :3
History:
Akemai grew up with two highly powerful ninja as her parents, and being their only child, they both wished for her to become strong. Even though her mother was soft when training her, her father pushed her to her own limits and many times Akemai disliked him. But as she got older and her maturity deepended she realized how helpful he was and started trainging even more. Detirmined to find out if she had inherited any of his or his wifes abilities, Akemai's Father spent a lot of one on one time teaching her what she needed to know. Akemai didn't even attend the small village school, and by the time she was 13 May's father was already the new Village Head. Not able to personlly train her now with his resposiblities, he moved her onto a Ninja Rank Genin by her just passing a simple test. Know more on her own she is detirmined to finish what her father started. She already knows that one of her NAture Chakras is Water, she's also expienced with this weird inner feeling of water. She thinks she'll be able to use the Hydration Technique soon. . ; ]
Personality:
May is very aware of her own power and/or feelings. She's very sweet and caring, but is stubborn and hates to give up. She's careless sometimes and underestimates other peoples abilities, usually when she feels like she has to save someone or do something. Akemai has a lot on her shoulders, being a VIllage Head's daughter May knows she can't be ordinary. That she has to surpass many other ninja, she's barley patient. Always getting frusterated when things take too long, of coarse she never shows it. But Akemai's inner self is quite impatient and gets bothered by obnoxious people. Even though she's easily frusterated she usually looks a thte upsides in life. Always tries to stay positive, May is an easy friend to have and gets along with anyone but negative people.
State of Mind:
Akemai usually trys to cheer herself of others up by looking at the good things she acounters, she quite sunny and hates peoeple who can't stop thinking negative. She also doesn't have a good time with people who bring themselves down, she likes the quiet so a calm companion is her favorite. But she usually gets along with practically everyone.

She doesn't know anything really, she very flexible and fast, and can throw a good punch. However, being held for so long, she didn't do anything besides experiment with her Kekkai Gekkai, Shikotsumyaku.
Relationships:
Her brother and clan abandoned her when she was very little and she has barley any memories of them. However, she really dislikes her brother and clan and doesn't wish to even serve them again, but being so feared has made her a hard target to befriend.
History:
Kiyoko is a members, or ex-member of the Kaguya clan. A cold-hearted, bloodthirsty group of skilled ninja that are highly feared. But her, being nothing alike the others, was left alone in the Khona jail when she was only 5: When her and her family were traveling, just her and her brother and father, they ran across a small cabin where the men seemed determined to destroy. Not really focussed on their violent actions, Kiyoko wandered away and watched the pretty birds in the trees before being comforted by a bloody, small girl. She looked scared and Kiyoko remembers the sick stench of death around her, but as much as she looked scared she looked determined and held a small, rusty shurikin her hands. The girl wanted to kill Kyoko, thrust the shurikin around her. But Kiyoko was fast, but didn't fight back. Instead she listened as the girl, probably the same age as her, rambled on about her story. As the small girl got tired, Kiyoko's father returned and smirked at the weak child. "Kill her." He directed Kiyoko, he had recently been trying to make her blood thirsty but was failing tremendously. Kiyoko nodded and grabbed the girl's wrist and dragged her behind the home, the little girl kicking and screaming and crying. Then they stopped, out of the men's eye sight, and Kiyoko plunged the blade into her own leg. Blood spurted everywhere and the small girl leaned up against the house, covered in more blood and twitching. Kiyoko then gave the girl clear instructions, and why she did it she did not know, but when she soon returned to her father covered in blood he bought it and barley noticed the blood flowing from Kiyoko's leg. Later, after they left the house behind and continued onward they were attacked by Khona shinobi, Kiyoko hid behind a tree and nearly passed out before seeing her brother standing by while her father was attacked by several ninja. She wondered why he wasn't fighting, since he was obviously able to, but instead he stood by and smirked. The last thing Kiyoko remembers from that moment was being scooped up by gentle hands that reminded her too much of her own mothers.

Since then she has been imprisoned, but not killed. Since she was only a child, but her brother had a different fate. Nearly hours after he was captured and overlooked as a scared child he escaped and slaughtered few guards in that time. The Khona Shinobi were suspicious of her too, so the binded her to the wall so she could not move freely. For the next 10 years passed and she sat quiet, in her cell, for the entire time before being let out into the sunlight.
Personality:
Kiyoko is very bland, she knows nothing of the real world and had spent so much time on her own that she doesn't even remember how to speak (much). She doesn't really know who she is, and barley knows how to act. So she is often found to very obedient and quiet, never speaks her own word and doesn't realize when something's wrong.

Kiyoko is just. . Kiyoko. She's just been released from prison and is . . almost nothing. She doesn't like or dislike anything, yet.
