This idea has been lingering in my head for a while...

The Background Story...

In the village there are many myths and legends, spreading amongst the people. But, there is one particular story that is most well known. In this story, the people say that, deep in the forest there lives a fearsome beast, strong enough to knock down a tree with little effort and with teeth so sharp and strong, they could bite through stone. They say this beast has eyes the color of blood and fur as dark as the night sky..
A few believe that this beast is a man, cursed to live life as a monster only during the night and dare not to enter the forests. Others believe it is only a myth and venture into the forests bravely, and many never returned...

Now....

It has been years since the stories of the beast in the forest began but the beast still roams the dark forests. But now the beast isn't the only threat.
Bandits, wolves and many other threats lurk in the shadows of the trees as well.. Tho the only real danger is at night, when the beast is awake..





For The Roleplay..
As a person of the village (or maybe a traveler visiting the village) you've heard the stories of The Beast many times. What will you do tho? Will you hunt the beast down in hopes of seeing it? Or will you be affraid and keep away from the forests?
The time period is before the 1800's so technology is not very high. Weapons are simple things such as: bows, swords, etc.

My Characters:

Name: Lucas AKA The Beast
Age: 23
Gender: male
Family: His father killed his mother and he killed his father
Personality: in his human form he is a good man and is very kind and generous. But once the moon rises in the sky he loses all control of himself as he turns into the blood thirsty beast the villagers tell about.
Bio/History: As the son of a beast he lives with the curse himself, taking the form of a human in the day and the form of a monster at night. His father killed his mother after one of his nightly transformations. Lucas had only been a few years old.
After Lucas had turned 18, he too began to transform at night and one night, he fought against his father, winning the fight to the death.. Now, afraid to get too close to anyone, he hides away in the forest.
